A little note as it gets asked a lot: Mermaids are good or evil determined by their traits. If they have either one of these traits given in CAS, they are good or bad. Other Mermaids are neutral and will have all the powers available to them.

Is there an advantage to making an npc tense or sad? I guess if you want to feed them to cow plants this is useful. If the mermaid has a spouse I can see making them flirty or inspired useful.
